The internship has been designed by senior psychologists and psychiatrists for beginner counselors who require supervision and real time experiences in case management and therapy. The program is intended to provide the opportunity to establish and refine skills fundamental to the practice of clinical and counselling
psychology. This internship is applicable to a wide variety of professional settings and will be divided into three areas: hospitals, educational institutes and corporates.
The intent for the internship is to perform an advanced level of functioning through five overall training competencies which will be organized across three developmental goals which define the internship.
Each competency is assessed by a range of training elements that will be used to evaluate interns at the midpoint and completion of their internships.
