Dr Nishanth Vemana having always been interested in the inner workings of the mind, the science behind emotional disorders and having seen how psychological problems affect families, I decided to take up Psychiatry after finishing my MBBS. Dr Nishanth Vemana learnt about most of the psychiatric disorders, the stigma associated with them and the crippling effect it has on individuals and families. I have worked with people who suffer from substance addiction ,chronic mentally ill(schizophrenia,bipolar disorder) in a rehabilitation center and also people who suffer from common mental disorders like depression,anxiety,ocd. My experience has led me to conclude that ‘There is no health without mental health’. I hope to achieve psychological well being for my clients and help them lead a fulfilling life.
